I used to ask, “how does it have value?”
I'm Amy, founder and educator behind Time Is Wealth Strategies. I first heard about Bitcoin and digital currencies in 2016, and honestly, I thought it was silly. My first question was, “how does it have value?” Curiosity won out, and I made my first Bitcoin investment in 2017. It truly clicked after I read The Creature from Jekyll Island and then watched the money printing during Covid. According to BLS Consumer Price Index data, a dollar today buys less than 3 percent of what it bought in 1913.
I earned two degrees, one in economics and one in business management, with a minor in finance. Then I spent seven years working in compliance and meeting with clients at a retirement firm. Over time my values no longer aligned with the traditional planning message of “just save money” while that money was losing value so fast. So I stepped away to teach what I had learned.
To me, Time Is Wealth means living the way you are called: using your skills and passion every day, with the people you love, and waking up excited, grateful, and hopeful to live your purpose with financial freedom and the know-how to protect it.
Marriage, and especially my son and daughter, gave me new eyes. My goals became missions, and I have real skin in the game for my future grandchildren. My kids' laughs are the best part of my day. They deepen my faith too: if I, a sinner, can love them this much, imagine how much God loves us.
I believe sovereignty starts with being open to the truth. Everyday Americans have been misled by media and power, and families deserve to make informed decisions that line up with how God wants us to live. I'm here for anyone who feels stuck: people who have lost hope, men guiding their families, women who want to be present at home instead of stuck in an office, folks chasing long, healthy lives on whole foods, and everyone who worked hard and feels robbed of their time. I want to show you how to get your time back and teach the people you love.
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me on a hike or a long walk. I'm a lifelong Minnesotan, from northern Minnesota to the Twin Cities.
